Bukit Larut (Maxwell Hill)
Travel to Bukit Larut, Perak and enjoy the spectacular scenery with the beautiful floras and natures growing such as golden sunflowers, tulips and rare giant fishtail palm thrive. Fondly known as Maxwell Hill, this hill was initiated in the year 1884 by William Edward Maxwell the British Assistant Resident of Perak. This hill is believed to have one of the heaviest rainfalls with more 500cm yearly.
By Road – From the North-South Highway, take the Taiping exit and follow the signs leading to Taiping. From Taiping town, head towards the lake garden and there will be signs presenting the way to Bukit Larut (Maxwell Hill).
