Royal Abu Bakar Museum

Istana Besar Johor – which is also known as the Grand Palace built in 1866 was made specially by His Royal Highness Sultan Abu Bakar, in the Renaissance style by local artists under the direction of a European architect. The furniture’s from the palace was all ordered from England by Sultan Abu Bakar in 1866. The Royal Abu Bakar Museum is still used for state ceremonies and official functions. One can also get a chance to view all the numerous silverware, ornaments as well as souvenirs by notables at the museum. So travel to Royal Abu Bakar Museum, Johor!
