Located near Batu Gajah and 20 minutes’ drive from Ipoh, Kellie’s Castle (also known as Kellie’s Folly) is famous amongst tourist and locals for it’s built. The unfinished, ruined mansion was made by a Scottish planter named William Kellie Smith. So for those who are considering for some adventure in this castle, all you need to do is just follow the road that leads to Kellie’s Castle in a dizzying, maze-like fashion, adding to the mystery and romance of the place.
By road – Take a drive down as the castle is located on the way to Batu Gajah town at the Kinta Kellas Rubber Estate, which is about a 30 minutes and 14 km drive south of Ipoh City.
