National Park (Taman Negara)
Travel to the National Park, Pahang now and explore one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforest and largest park in Malaysia at 2,477 km². Established in the Titiwangsa Mountains during the year 1938 after independence and known formerly as the King George V National Park, this park has emerged into a renowned ecotourism terminus in Malaysia. Housing famous and rare mammals of Malayan Gaur (seladang), Malayan Tiger, Sumatran Rhinoceros, Red Junglefowl, Asian Elephant, Great Argus and lots more – it’s indeed a must see attraction in Malaysia.
One should also not miss the canopy walkway near Kuala Tahan, Gua Telinga and viewing the various species of birds along with the tropical rain forest.
