Penang Hill
Travel to Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera) that stands flagrantly from the plains as a hilly and forested area near Ayer Htam and get the chance to explore this design of Penang Hill that was built by Francis Light way back in 1788. Situated about 823 meters (2750 feet) above sea level on this northern part of Penang, this primogenital hill resort and the leading resort hill in Malaysia has cool, clean air and historical feature. Getting there
By Road – The funicular train station is a mere 7 km drive from Georgetown city centre. You won’t miss it – just follow the sign boards.
By Bus or Taxi – Take a bus from Komtar and request for a stop at Penang Hill funicular train station.
